Default boost gauge installation APR VENT

I just bought the APR Boost Guage from APR this weekend at the Audi Aftermarket event in Springfield. Was hoping the instructions on there website would have had a little more detail. can someone please tell me (or show) were they run the tube though the fire wall and were they tap in. Also how do I do the electronic portion? Thanks for your help.

Default Boost Gauge hose install

I can show you some of the way, but you will need to route a hose, cut tubing, use a "T" connectors, clamps, etc.

This is the primary vac. hose.

The main line coming from the manifold, is at the bottom here. It has the enlarged curve at the back end, because I did not trim the hose, when I added in the "T" connector. I may trim this later.

It comes out through the firewall in the car here.

As far as the electrical goes, it's simply connected to the dash lights.
There are no electrical connections to the actual boost gauge itself.

Default It's all over. Easiest place to get it is from the dimmer/light switch...

You will need to remove the lower dash anyway, to route the hose for the gauge.
Look at the dimmer circuit at the light switch. It's right there
