Default Boost gauge Q

Not too familiar with installing a boost gauge, but im planning to get an Autometer Boost/Vacuum gauge 30 psi and a compatible pod from TTstuff. Is that good enough? Do i need to upgrade the nylon tube to copper? Im planning to get chipped soon. How easy/hard is the install? How long to install for a first timer like me?

There are only 3 things to hook up - Ground, live and the vacuum line, right?

Any good links for a good boost install? Im thinking of an underdash install using Autometer pod (want to make my dash clean and simple and I like my vent intact).

search "boost guage install" and you'll come up with a lot of info (thread about 2-3 days ago on it)

p.s. you want to put any/all guages in clear view (if you're gunna be lookin at em while driving)

cheers

Default Check out my Fotki at the link, complete install and other .......

links for other installs. Hardest part is removing the lower dash and getting it back on. Everything else is simple

http://public.fotki.com/blackfnTTruck/defi_boost_gauge_install/</a
