Boost Machine in!!!...

first impressions..i dont know if it is because i havent driven my car in a long time but boost seems to kick in much earlier. i didnt get to really pound it cause of local streets and living less than a mile from the police station. but all i have tried so far is the pressure regulator 3 and a half turns. i was hitting about 17 lbs does that sound about right? i am chipped i thought i remember peaking 20 without it.
easiest install i have ever worked on (the first by myself (excluding headlight housings))
instructions were to the tee thanx audacioustt, ive adjusted it to 4.5 turns for the pr and 3/4 a turn for the rv.
what is everyone else running?

You got it right!...

Hope you like it....4 1/2 is what I run mine..3/4 on relief also...The thing works...don't it!

yeah it really does, i havent driven it with your setup yet, but im going to work in a lil so

ill have highway to experiment :0)

whats the max that is safe on both pieces..i just wanna know my limits so i dont go into limp mode

I wouldn't go more than around 5ish...i think Im just about to hit limp mode.

No more than 5 1/2 turns, at 6 my car hitted limp mode in various occasions.

Word of caution, check VAG block 020 and check for >>

timing corrections due to higher boost. I am using crappy 91 octane in CA and with 5 turns, I get ~5-6 degree of correction which is close to the danger zone.
Make sure your timing correction is not more than 5 degree or use some higher octane gas - check my sig.

I ran a whole tank of 100 octane with 7 turns in the regulator and hitting ~27 PSI's without hitting limp mode and no timing corrections.
