Default Worth a shot...>

A lot of times, when you increase flow (like you just did with the DP) it will throw a MAF over the edge..

Default Ok, Reset ECU, disconnected MAF, problem still there.

I don't think it's the temp sensor, though. Last time that went bad on my car, I had fluctuating rpm at idle, black smoke, and sputtering during gear change. I'm not having any of that this time. If my problem were related to the coil packs, wouldn't I be getting some sort of codes? The codes I've thrown today so far have been: p1602 power supply B+ terminal 30 low voltage.. I cleaned my battery terminals which had slight corrosion, reset codes, and this one didn't come back. The other was p0102 maf circuit low input, obviously due to MAF being disconnected. Reconnected and cleared and this code did not come back.

So, any other ideas?

So nothing has worked. I even put the OEM DV back in there, but no dice. Guess I'll be taking it in.

Default did you check the hoses under the battery tray? that's a common hose leak after doing a FMIC

and sometimes, those clamps aren't tightened down as well as they should be.

Default that sharp venting of air doesn't sound like a leak, more like system is cutting your boost, >

sensing something isn't right and protecting the motor.
Again...I may (probably) be wrong, but check for ignition retard from knock

FMIC went in 9 months ago... sound is coming from BM/DV/N75 area.

How would I check for ignition retard? Put it on the vagcom?

yes....while driving, when yu get the venting see what the cylinder retard values are
