although it has reputation of being a "chic" car, most women i dated loved the car and the guy i sold it to last week... uk playboy.
although i don't think it's in the same league as 911 or SL in terms of "mega player".
okok... don't flame me, i know a car is just a transportation device and not a symbol of manhood or wealth but then most of us would be driving a civic if that's the real case.

There are 2 distinct buyers of that car....>
The Wannabe "players" and those that buy it for the hardware. I've always been the latter. and resent the image the former portrays....Whatever..

oh so when girls hear "Porsche" they don't think you have money? ;-)
I guess it all depends on the type of the perceiver. Most people will not think that a Porsche driver is of an average salary. I think that Porsche is one of few exotic car brands that is sold on reasons other from status symbols and that is one key reason to why I love the 911s. This all brought up a memory. Some random girl (don't ask...can't remember) thought that Audi was just another Honda. She was very surprised when I noted that its an upscale brand of the same sort as BMW. Go figure.

lol how true. I had the pleasure of taking a few 911s for a spin. Could have turned it into many
"one nighters" but decided that driving the car was a lot more fun :-)
Same applies to TT
