You have two speakers in each door, on in each side panel by the rear seats and also a pair under the corrugated venting on the dash for the central air vents.
With the BOSE in the TT the FADER is disabled, per the owners manual, in order to maintain the
acoustic equalization.

I do not know of any way to override this disable feature.
As for the Bass, this is probably due to the mid range/bass drivers in the rear side panels which seem to be equalised more to lower frequencies than the mid range drivers in the doors. There is no separate sub woofer with this Bose system, unlike the A4 Avant and some others in the range.
The Bose outputs 175 Watts, though 4 separate amps each with its own biased frequency equalization. I have not yet deduced which amps drive which speakers.
