Default Brake pedal vibration in hot weather

I get random brake pedal vibration when stopped in hot weather. I can be driving for a while and then come to a light and at the stop my brake pedal vibrates/hums pretty loudly. It doesn't pulse, but vibrates like a vibrator. It comes and goes, and only happens when the ambient temp is above 85 F. My foot doesn't need to be on the brake pedal.

Anybody have this happen? It doesn't happen in the winter (cold/cool) and it doesn't happen while driving; only at a stop. Of course, the dealer never heard of it.

Default replied to your post on the 'tex

under the alias 'thenamescolby'

could be some melted pad on your rotors. try re-bedding them.

if it's not that it could be a plethora of other things.

Default Happens with the brakes unengaged

I can feel the vibration in the brake pedal, but I can hear it as well, even with my fool off the brake pedal. I do not think it has anything to do with the pads or rotors. The car is stopped, stationary, parked.

thanks, though

Could be an ABS sensor...the sound/vibration would be the ABS motor

No, rpms are steady. But the boost gauge shows a load on the engine. Vacuum decreases.

Default More info please

Someone else said it could be the ABS accumulator, but I'm not familiar with either. I know there is an ABS controller, but where is the motor?
