Default Brakes are hard after alternator change?

Hey guys,

I just got my first Audi today. 2001 TT Quattro roadster, 87,000 miles.
The guy lowered the price to $5500 with the condition that I fix the alternator. Not an issue, Or so I thought.
Took about four hours for the whole change, and I thought everything was good.

However, Now my brakes feel ridiculously stiff. Very hard to come to a stop.

So I'm wondering if maybe I disconnected something while changing the Alternator that got air in the lines?

Can someone please shed some light on this?

Also, when we got the car back to my buddy's house, he checked it with a code reader and it threw two codes saying the number 2 and 3 cylinders were misfiring. Is this usually spark plugs or coil packs?

Thanks, yall!

Brake booster is not getting vacuum. It's a complicated system as far as brake boosters go, but the bottom line is, you need to find out where the system is losing vacuum. I don't think there's anything vacuum related anywhere near the brake booster, but he may have done other work on the car and cracked a hose at the same time.
