Breaking in the engine.
The only thing you need to avoid is setting the cruise control for the first 1,000 miles. That is it. No break-in oils in the engine or anything like that.
Go out and to quote one of my service managers; "beat the **** out of the car and have fun with it. These cars don't have break-in periods!"
I went out and followed his orders to a T.
125 within 1 hour of taking delivery and put on over 300 miles the first day and a half!
I began my mods the day I got the car.
Hardwired the V1 less than 4 hours after picking it up
My chip went in 3 months later and then the mod'ing began!

I got my information from the Service Manager and have also talked to quite a few other people that work in the automotive industry, they all agree. New engines do NOT need to be broken in!
