Default Brilliant Black w/ Stilauto's - like? dislike?

Did a crude chop to see what the new Stilauto wheels would look like on a BB Coupe (Thanks Frisco for the initial pics!).

They don't 'grab' me initially, but I am not sure I'll find something that is absolutley perfect.

Opinions?

Default They look good, though I prefer something more "filled in"

But that's just my opinion. The wheels are such a visible part of the TT. The thin spoke, open wheels just don't stand out like I think they should. But get what you like, you are the only opinion that matters.

Default re: sunroof...

Yes, very much luckily as the hole would be a difficult thing to 'undo'.

Really the only issue with it is the fact that at speed it must be closed to at least the "vent" position otherwise I believe it might just tear off... not that it is a weak product, but at speed, I know there is a great deal of stress on it.

If that were not the case, it would be fully open at all times - especially since I live in Southern Cal. and it rarely rains.

Ned any more info, just e-mail me.

Glen - since these are so open you need to upgrade your brakes next (not a bad idea anyway!)

Default That's probably not gonna happen...

any time soon. And yes, that is one of the issues with these wheels - they seem to beg for big, fat, red calipers.

Projects right now include wheels - definite, stereo upgrade, another definite and some track experiences like the one we are both doing on the 23rd.

Of course, brakes would enable a better track experience. We'll see... for right now I am simply focused on these three things.

Thanks for the thoughts though.

I agree, but as you said, it's subjective.

I know these have been photoshoped (or are larger than 18s) but you get the idea on black.

Correct image size on silver coupe from Edge...
