I was tightening my bolts before I went out for a spirited drive, and all of a sudden the wrench gets really easy to turn on one of the bolts, and I am thinking there is no way one of my bolts can be this loose... and then BAM, the shaft separates from the socket! It was a crappy torque wrench so what brand should I get to replace it?

depends on how much you use it, but an inexpensive Sears ~$30 works just fine, no need to spend $100
