Brookline VW/Audi...anyone ever had a GOOD experience there?

Only at the parts department, I wouldn't let them touch my car...>
I'd rather drive the 10 miles to Clair (Brookline Audi is 1 mile from my house). If 1.8t.org was still up you could read all the ****ty reviews they earned.

don't know if 'good experience' and ' boston dealer' can exist in the same sentence!
We have not had a steller experience record with using 3 different boston area dealers. I thought it was me....but after talking with many other owners.. I know I do not hold an exclusive on poor dealer experience.
The kicker is they have big *** signs in the dealer to tell you to give them excellent on the phone surveys! Even get notes stapled to the work order! They even ask you when you pick up the car.. I always told them. You get the score you earn. Scores are not 'given' they are 'earned'

maybe I'll take it out to Clair then...my mechanic European Auto in Kenmore told me a part was still under warranty even though the car isn't...but these guys @ brookline are a joke...they've had my car for 6 hours and still haven't even looked at it...

True... I guess I haven't looked at it in a while..or updated the page in a while.
That was also before I got into MGs . I have an MGB and a MGB-GT now.
The TT is my wife's car. All stock. We JUST did a GIAC 'chip' though. BIG difference!
Still very underwhelmed with the dealership experience so far. Shine racing has been great, if you can get there.

Universal reaction to chips - "Why didn't I do this sooner?"
I was a big Shine booster while Eli seemed to be taking the reigns, but haven't been back since Jim insisted on charging me a $100 diagnostic fee when replacing an O2 sensor that I had already correctly scanned and identified as faulty.
Dick is great and still knows more about how VW's and Audis should be set up than just about anyone. Eli's departure, the corresponding jump to $100/hr shop rates, and Jim's dealer mentality with a customer of 10+ years has left me little cold to them though.
BTW - you should come out to the NE Audi GTG in Framingham tomorrow night. Very mixed crowd of old-timers and newcomers.
