Mice?.....>
Don't laugh. Before I changed insulation materials in teh TTDA I had several pics sent me of "Faulty" insulation....:-). The mice loved running up the feed tubes and munching down on that stuff...

Thx Steve, possible, but improbable... the foam itself the comes out of the vent is powdery>>
so due to this I suspect our hot climate has taken its toll on the internal foam. Most frustrating after you give the interior a good cleaning to have bits flyig out of the vents!
The hoodliner has also started sagging in places, again due to the heat I think... part number anyone? hmmm, maybe I SHOULD look at a new TT.,...

Yup...could be your climate then...But..>
I wouldn't discount critter infestation. I know a lot of the foam used is dense Closed cell type. Scratching, munching, would result in small pieces/dust. I kinda doubt it would deteriorate on its own...Doesn't this stuff live in landfills for hundreds of years??....:-)

hmmm, you could well be right - will take some pics tonight of some sample bits
and post 'em up tomorrow for review...
BTW, have been so busy at work I haven't een on the forum for months, but I finally did get around to installing the suspension setup you recommended: along with all of the rubbers, shock mounts and bushings, my Bilsteins have absolutely transformed the car! Thanks for the great guidance, I'm _REALLY_ happy with the results.
