Default Can anyone help with wiring question (Jeff you out there)...

The Torquesteer angel eye kit has wiring system that connects to battery then feeds to both different light boxes. There is one addition wire to complete the circuit and is suppose to connect to parking lights for example. When I took apart the headlight housing I removed one bulb (which I think was the blinker and parking light) and another plug to headlight housing. I attempted to connect the wire to complete the circuit to the wiring that has the bulb on it thinking that is the parking light. When I connected to one wire it automaticly turned the light box on without car on. Where can I connect this wire to complete the circuit but to come on when parking light is on only? Or better yet where should it be connected
