Default Can the feature of volume adjustment by speed be implemented in the TT by using VAG-tool????

I usually drive my Touareg on the highway but lately I have been cruising in the city.

I just noticed that when I slow down the volume from the audio system goes down and when I accelerate it increases the volume automatically. I want that feature in the TT as well.

Since both cars are practically made from the same manufacturer, I'm sure there is a way to get it done.

If you know of any please share.

TIA!

Default GALA in the 'Concert' series. AFAIK, it doesn't work. (Also, It's not a VAG setting, AFAIK)

Default not VAG-COM setting, try

Speed-sensitive Volume Control (GALA) Information
The following is the procedure on how to access the Speed-sensitive auto-volume compensation display.

Turn off radio.
While pressing and holding the Preset 2 button, turn on radio. The display shows how many decibels the SVC has increased the volume. This is a display-only mode. You cannot change any settings.
When you are done, turn off radio, then turn it back on for normal operation.

To change settings:
Turn off radio.
While pressing and holding the FM2 or AS button (whichever is appropriate for your radio version), turn on radio.
The display will show a parameter that could be adjusted.
Turn the volume control **** to change the setting.
Press the FM2 or AS button to advance to the next adjustable parameter and you can use the volume **** in the same way. Repeat this until it cycles back to the first mode.
When you are done, turn off radio, the setting will be remembered the next time the radio is turned on.
The table below shows a list of parameters that can be adjusted in this manner.
Parameter Description
SVC (or GALA) Speed-sensitive Volume Control (auto-volume compensation) effect
VOL Turn-on volume setting
SENS Station-scan sensitivity (DX/LOcal)
RM Radio Monitoring (whether radio should come on
while cassette is rewinding or fast-forwarding) (OFF/ON)
NAV Navigation system audio mute amount
TA Traffic Announcement volume
The volume of traffic announcements (independent of music volume). This is applicable to radios with this capability, and operated in an area with such a service.

Default On my '02, it's found through the radio menu feature. Hold down the menu button for a couple of...

seconds and different features become accessible. Hope that helps.

Default It works on my '02 TTC........

except mine has an automatic volume decreaser at all speeds......It's called a wife!
Every time she rides in the car, no matter what the volume is set at, she will decrease it.
