Default can you go in limp mode without a CEL?

I'm at 3PSI and 3HG peak. NO CEL. It seems too consistently normal to be a leak?<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1669211.phtml">in relation to this thread.</a></li></ul>

Default "consistently normal" meaning it happens then it doesn't then it does then doesn't....

Or are you just stuck at 3 pounds all the time since the trouble started?

Check for leaks...do you have a boost machine...check the hoses for cracks...get a pressure tester.

Default "Limp mode" generally will reset itself. It will also throw a code w/o a CEL

The only way to tell for sure whether or not limp mode was reached is to read the ECU codes with VAGCOM and look for a "charge pressure exceeded" code.

Default do you rememberknow what channel is it in VAGcom to monitor this???

i would assume you go to engine control module, measuring blocks... but not sure what blocks to monitor...any info is greatly appreciated.

Default It will show up as a fault code under the Engine Module. Limp mode occurs

when the boost exceeds what the ECU was expecting. To protect the engine limp mode causes boost to dump when it hits about 10 psi.

Default consistently normal - meaning it always happens and i only boost to 3psi or vac 3hg.

thats is why it is strange. If it were a leak, I would expect it to fluctuate some.

Would a faulty n95 mess with vacuum like that?

My only codes were the ones i posted in the other thread linked to in my original post in this thread.

Before i went into this no CEL limp sorta thing (if it is limp mode), I was pulling a code for Check DV! Pressure drop between turbo and (something else). (i had a thread for that too).

I have a leak tester. I am unable to find a leak. The air does leak, but it leaks near the Throttle B, but according to Steve's site that is normal?

Other than that - I didnt notice any leaks. I do not have a boost machine - I am on the stock n75.
