one of my bulbs is shining lower than the other and its making my car look like it has a dim light... i know the vag com can adjust the lights, but is there any other way to do it???

yes , you can do it manually .

there is a little hole with a sign look like an arrow on the top of each headlight you can use flat screw driver to adjust the leveling .

First of all, I've been told that both screws on each light must be turned simultaneously. Other than that, it's really simple once you've got a VAG-COM. Go to 'Xenon Lights', click on basic settings, then go to block 1 and follow the instructions: You will have to wait for a few seconds, then a message will appear saying that you should now adjust your headlights. Once you've done that, quit basic settings and the new level will have been memorised.

I've done it lots of times, be sure to aim at a wall that's at least 10 metres away while the car is horizontal.
