Default Car Cover Request & Transmission Worries

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a car cover for the TT? There was a posting some time ago but I did'nt save it. Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me an address or site.

I've now got 850 miles up on my 180Q and agree with those of you who think 1st gear is pretty useless. Also, I find I have to make the change from 1st to 2nd quite slowly or else the change is 'clunky' and is accompanied by a kind of jerk (not grinding) from the transmission. (Forgive European terminology plse). Is this common or an indication of problems to come?

Apart from that the car is a wow. I'm 47 and I'm getting looks like I'm 20 years younger and still had hair.

Any Irish TT owners (only 50 cars in the country!) visiting the forum, email me and we'll have a chat.

I am still waiting on my TTQ (it's in port) but I have a question. My understanding is that the transmission in the Quattro is not the same as those in the FWD. Why would the quattro tranny share the same probles(maybe the fluid is the same as noted in prior postings??)

My understanding is that the transmission is completely different between the two models. The Q uses a Haldex multi-plate clutch.

Is the problem in the linkage from the gear stick to the box?

Have you spoken to your dealer? I have only had my car for three weeks today so have not taken it back as yet.

I've bought a cover from www.covercraft.com. It's made of Noah fabric.
