Car is overheating, HELP!!!!
I had a check engine light, so I checked the vag and came up with 3 faults...
1)MAF
2)First O2 Sensor
3)Engine Water Temperature Sensor/Range Performance
I have noticed the car acting really werid, when my temp gauge wouldn't get above the middle notch. Now its getting all the way to the High mark. I JUST replaced the dual temp sensor(the one next to the intake/battery) and its still overheating. Can someone help. Dealer is closed today and I'm moving and need to use my car. Thanks

mine went - under warranty
. Don't recall the numbers, but not cheap. I seem to recall that the pump is internal to the engine. I could be wrong, but my tired old brain thinks it remembers.
Unfortunately they don't give the hard copy with the dollars and cents on warranty work.
good luck

2001 TT was overheating
Took it to the dealer and they replaced a sensor and I think the fan unit. I'm trying to locate the work order so I can give you the exact cause of the problem. My car didn't make any kind of noise. The temperature guage would climb and my A/C wouldn't blow cold air. Sometimes the guage came back down on its own then the A/C wpould come on as well
