Car is totalled...
 

What a sad day today....me & a buddy of mine went out for a spin (literally) today and he lost control of the car. I know I know people have been telling me, you let him drive your car?!? But I trusted this guy alot. He's driven my car on lots of occasions and being a TT owner himself, I had total faith in him. Well, we had some freak severe storms today and the ground was barely wet.......(long hot day & freshly wet ground = oily slicks) we were coming around a slight bend on the road doing about 45mph, when the car just slipped started doing a couple 360's, fell into a ditch and came out the other side of the ditch into oncoming traffic and collided head on with a Toyota 4 Runner. The front end of my car is wiped out. No one was hurt, no one in the Toyota was hurt, my airbags didnt go off, neither did the 4 Runners....I will say that the TT chassis is very strong.....no interior damage from what I could see...and to make things worse...I just got my car back from the shop with 1 week on my Stage 3... :-(

I'm VERY glad no one was hurt. I am so surprised. The woman in the car didnt have her kid in a childs safety seat!! And wasn't buckled in! I dont know how the kid stayed in the car. Cop gave her a ticket for that. And gave PAULTT a ticket too. I'm having my adjuster take a look at it tomorrow and give me the damage report....I did look under the hood and no SEVERE engine damage could be seen...I know my stock intercooler was relocated, the radiator is gone, both headlights gone (there go my angel &amp; clear lens mods) and the car was spilling coolant all over the place.

Any idea on damage guestimates?? Anyone?
