CD changer Error code (Error3), anyone get it and can it be fixed without

replacing the unit. Dealer wants to replace the unit for well over $400. Have coupe, anyone found a good place to put the Phat Noise, rather do that than same changer. Or if anyone has a changer for a coupe they want to sell...

happens all the time- removing and reinserting 6pack fixes it for me.

That seems to be part of the problem is that the 6 pack is stuck in it...I guess I need to figure

out a way to work it out of the changer.

I know the error codes and what they mean are in the literature provided with the car.

Everytime I have an error3 I was able to fix it the same way as fredfromny. The disc may be stuck inside the actual player so maybe you will be able to coax it back into the magazine without taking it out.
