Default Changing front and rear pads (not rotors)

Sorry, I'm sure this has been covered many times, but after a search the only links I've found don't appear to work. I suspect that all may become clear when I get the wheels off, but would welcome comments though please guys. Do the callipers come apart to replace the pads? etc

Thanks

Default Links..

You can follow this link for the fronts.
https://www.audiworld.com/tech/wheel25.shtml
The connectors on the pad sensors will be slightly different, but the physical setup is otherwise the same.

And think link will describe the rears.

Good luck!

Default here are a few tips, i just did pads rotors and lines.

Fronts
yes the calipers come apart
-remember to lubricate the slider pins
-be careful on the drivers side pad when removing the old pads sensor wire as I broke mine and had to just improvise it back together where I could have avoided that if I took my time.
-spray brakleen to prevent anything from getting between the new pads and the rotors especially because your reusing your rotors.

Backs
-the most difficult part about the back is getting the metal wire clip type thing on the top of the pad to set where it should into the caliper.
-you need the piston tool that rotates that can be rented from autozone.

for both front and back be careful not to bend, kink or put any type of stress on the brake lines that could cause leaks or possibly brake them. I would always rest the caliper on a bucket.

If you have any questions just fire away as this is fresh in my mind from just doing it.
