Can anyone recommend a good hand car wash in Chicago? I would prefer in the city but I'm willing to go to the suburbs for a great wash.

otherwise, North Shore Detail in Highland Park is good or head to the Exchange in Highland Park and they'll hand wash it for free! Just tip him.


Or do what I do...wash it yourself in the cold garage with a hot water hose

The Delta Sonic on Dundee and Baldwin in Palatine is great.. it's not a hand wash, but its brushless. The guys there do a great job cleaning, and you can get a free wash within a week if a bird takes a dump on your car.

I always take my car to the Exchange in Highland park but they told me that they use a hand car wash service, i.e. they don't wash cars at their location. To tell you the truth I was very happy with their wash.
I always Zaino my car but in this cold weather I really don't feel like washinh it. And I don't have a hose with hot water

but around the block they have the detail shop that does it..just pull in there and ask them if they have time to wash it.

He has detailed my cars for over five years and is very good. A colleague recently had his BMW 2002 buffed and waxed by Shane and is very satisfied. The rates are reasonable, and work is always outstanding.
