do some searches on GIAC, Revo, and APR. They seem to be the most popular. Depending on the model year of your TT, the tuner shop can program your ECU without pulling the chip.
Most will tell you to go with whoever is local to you, if that is an option.

i can tell you this. i had an APR chip for about a week and it was 'freakin awesome'. Had to take
it off for a bit due to some weird issue, but
i can't wait to get it back next week.
So...the expected gain is More Fun.

There are lots of people (male and female) who know alot about this, but
from what I have been able to gleen, it varies from 15 to 40 HP, with comensurate torque increases, from chipping only and pump gas (up to 93 octane). Greater gains from 100 octane fuel, but :-(. It should also be noted that results vary.
Prices range from $500 to $1000. Lots of options and guarantees.
Further gains come from additional mods. Prices vary dramatically here. Check out the APR web site and see what their 340 HP mod costs.
Best advice seems to have already been given. Buy local.
