Default Class action tire settlement question

I received the same class action document as many here also received and yes, I have not been able to followd the threads here on this recently and yes, I understand that this has probably been beaten to death and yes, I have done a forum search looking for answers and yes, I'm still confused! ;P

My question: I purchased four 16" Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22 tires and steel wheels in Nov 2000, am I eligible for the 50% reimbursement? If so, I am going to send my claim in!

Default a proper answer would require your full credit card no. and exp date along with mothers maiden name.

just kidding- I am doing the same as I ordered alloys and winter tires in Oct 00. I kind of feel guilty as I knew the stock tires would suck in bad weather when I bought the car. I figure the refund will cover an instrument cluster out of warranty.

Default Check the "sample" form at the end of the letter...

The date on it reads January 19 2003 (or some day in Jan 2003) as the date the form has to be submitted to Audi...so, I called the Audi number in the letter and requested a new form with a corrected date (Jan 2004). Not sure if submitting a form with the incorrect date would cause any further issues in filing a claim.

The person on the other end asked quite a few questions though and made it seem like they may want to ask for more info after receiving the form and receipt/proof of tire & wheel purchase. Probably trying to weed out any fraudulent claims to the best of their abilities.

Default Sent mine in a few days ago - expecting 50% rebate

However I got mine at euro tire, so I have an actual paper receipt... but I would think the email receipt from tire rack should be fine.,.

Perhaps tire rack can send you a "paper" invoice ?? (just to be safe)

Default Here's my bank routing number and Social Security number....

NOT! LOL! And I don't feel too guilty about it since Audi USA was dumb not to mention that their performance tires suck in the winter. If it wasn't for this forum, I probably would have been killed that first winter!

Bummer about the cluster, I had mince replaced for the THIRD time on my 2001 just before the warranty expired.

Default I might be able to dig up a paper receipt, but I'll call Tirerack too.

Just to see if they could send me something a little more "official". The info in my post was pulled from their web site and I was kinda a little surprised they still had that info in their database, so that leasds me to believe that they could send me a new paper receipt.

And hey! How are things!? We need to hook up for a NJ GTG sometime!
