Climate Control system question

Is there a way to get fresh air to come through the vents on the dash without having to turn on the blower?

not that I know of--with a true climate control system like we have

If it was just a vent system, I guess you could. I almost never have the system on fresh anyway though, so I could be unqualified to answer. I'm a chronic "recirculate" abuser.

I'm not quite sure either, but I think >>

either if you do not press the "recirculate" button or press the "Auto" button, either of those will let in fresh air only. Again, I'm not 100% sure, but I've done it before without thinking about it... lol.... :-)

supposedly it's the ECON setting. Just looked it up in manual earlier today

Probably for the same reason you did. Don't need the AC, wanted fresh air.

In other cars, if you don't have the recirculated air button pressed then fresh air comes in through the activated vents without having to turn on the blower. In my TT this cannot happen. The only way to get any air in is to turn on the blower. I thought there might be some trick I wasn't aware of.
