Default Cluster question
OK - I'm pretty sure I have a bad cluster.. on 2 recent trips I'd be driving along and all the guages would turn off for a second, then ok for a while then it would happen again....

Sounds like a bad cluster ???

Is there any problem using car until I get a chance to have this fixed ?? any safty issues ??

Default Possibly...could also just be a loose connection on the back of the cluster>>>
although that is not too likely...

Default This was happening on mine>>
turned out to be a loose connection on the battery negative terminal. Maybe that, or your battery is going?

Or probably just a bad cluster.

Had that problem exactly...turned out to be a dirty ground from the neg. side of the battery

I had changed the battery (yes by myself) a few months ago... maybe just not tight enough!!

Default Ah-ha! Same as my situation>>
I swapped batteries in the wal-mart parking lot, using only an adjustable wrench, and forgot to check the tightness when I got home. Month or so later the cluster wackiness ensued.
