Default 2002 Mk1 TT

Pulled into parking space on morning and turned car off for about 2 min and went to turn it back on as I was going to leave again car simply would crank but not turn over...

Since then I have gotten new battery, starter, spark plugs. Tested coils, timing belt, chain and tensioners. Also had a bad valve cover gasket but I replaced that. So I know I have spark and I can hear my fuel pump priming when it’s in the on position. Assume it can’t be compression as the car was driving well and it couldn’t have gone bad from me just turning off the car and then turning it back on. Car did idle a little rough but it was barely noticeable. And once I started driving it wasn’t noticeable at all. Maybe a little rich I suppose. Never misfired or stalled while driving. Always felt power as well. Any suggestions from y’all let me know what you think even if it’s the smallest thing that could make this her not wanna turn over for me. I’m getting spark and fuel and my compression is fine. Engine is at 80k.

crank sensor? Have you scanned the car for codes? My coupe did that and I had to wait until the engine cooled down, then it would start. PIA when running errands.....good luck.
