Concert sound system has an alternator wine.

Just bought my first Audi. 2000 TT. It has a 6 disc changer in it. You can hear a faint wine when I have the radio on. But when Iâ€¼sup>TM</sup>m listening to a CD it is bad.

Any suggestions?

It was a problem on all early TTs. Mine was fixed by the dealer.

I noticed this faintly on my '01 after installing the PhatNoise as well.

I only notice it on quiter songs or between tracks, when the volume is up.... Where does one put a capacitor, and what size should be used, to defeat the whine?
