Since replacing the stock air box with the new Neuspeed PFlow air intake, I have been listening to the whoosh-whoosh sound and have decided I don't really like it all that much.

Is the stock dump valve in the TT a recirculating dump valve? (reading posts on problems with this valve have confused me)

Am I wrong in thinking that replacing this valve with a higher quality recirculating dump valve will still whoosh-whoosh because the back pressure was vented to the now non-existent stock air intake box?

Has anyone found anything to quiet the whooshing?

because your new intake does not have all the noise dampening that the stock box has.
