Default Don't think so. May lower underhood temperatures, but that pipe takes air to your engine>>

so I would think, Carlos, that keeping the charge air in there as hot as possible is exactly what you do NOT want to do! That is what jethot does, and why it's effective on exhausts - coating internally and externally keeps heat from getting into the metal pipe itself, and obviously from escaping the pipe into the engine bay. As exhaust gas temps stay high, velocities do, too. So that is the double benefit of coatings like jet hot or swaintech. But you are trying to get your intake charge to LOSE as much heat as possible before it goes to the engine!

Which is why, if you check their site, I believe they are all about exhaust manifold and headers - the exhaust side of a turbo would be a possible candidate, though.

Default Ceramic coating might reduce the charge air temp a little...

being that pipe sits a few inches away from the hot exhaust. Don't know how noticeable the effect it might have given the coating is very, very thin.

Default I agree John....I think the "cool" setup...>>

would be to put an air to water intercooler on that pipe. Just something that's been floating around in the "mod" section of my head for awhile.....:-) They make them in tubular form....
