Coolant leak
Hello, I have a 2001 Audi TT 1.8t 225 roadster. It is leaking coolant from the passenger side of the engine. The car has 49,000 miles on it. I doubt it would be the water pump with so few miles. Any ideas? Coolant is all over the bottom of the block on the passenger side.

Pull engine covers from the front (pulley side) of the engine to look for a leak in that area. There is one on the top and one on the lower part of the engine.I'd suspect the water pump based on age, regardless of mileage.
A pressure test kit is best to use to find intermittent leaks. Harbor Freight has a decent one for non-shop use.
