coolant warning light issue...
been having the coolant level warning light come on for some time but checking fluid find that it is full. did a search here and found others with similar problem did a reservoir replacement and that seemed to do the trick. Is the coolant reservoir also referred to as an expansion tank? trying to find a place to order one and fix this problem. is there any place someone could recommend? any help would be appreciated. thanks

I have an extra tank
I've had this problem in the past. The sensor inside the tank goes bad, so unless you can somehow clean off the contacts inside, you have to replace the tank. Simple job to do.
Anyway, the problem came back this winter, and I assumed it was the sensor going bad again, so I ordered a new tank. Then I checked the coolant and it actually was low!
So I have a brand new tank sitting in my drawer in the garage. Want it? I'll sell it to you for $25, shipping included. I think they are like $36 new.
