Could someone lookup 2 parts numbers for me...
Both are headlight parts, I am wondering what the diffrence is...
8N0-941-004-AM 8N0-941-003-AF Both were ordered for my car last week, hopfully to put this headlight problem to rest. I am wondering what each one means, etc. |
THose part numbers are too new for anyone with a parts cd. sorry :(
|
ooooooo new parts numbers, sounds good, I will call my parts department.
|
Not exactly . . .
Tom, the ETKA cd that everyone has is close to a year out of date! I barely have any parts for the 225. Lots of the parts numbers get letter changes, so it is more of a revision number than a completely new part.
Sort of like the G and H valves for the DV. Make sense? |
That is what I ment
I am hoping these new numbers are the correct numbers, since it seems whenever they order something it is the wrong part. Plus I know that these two parts are brand new and ordered from the warehouse, not a mix and match of inventory and ordered parts
|
When my dealer swapped my Xenon's, they had to order both theses parts-swap the ones on the car.
|
So these are the new parts correct?
I am having them replace both headlights due to the color change. I want to make sure this is my last (of 8) try to get these things fixed/replaced
|
Xenon Headlamps - the 003-AF is the one from the factory, on the car, -AM ??
|
I am assuming there is a left and a right, and both are being replaced
so one would be left, one would be right, correct? they should have diffrent part numbers, since if someone cracks one up, they do not want to have to replace both.
|
I'd be leery of two different suffixes, ie: AM & AF. 003 is left, 004 is right.
