Couldn't remote-open my gas cap or my trunk lid. Did it manually. Now it's fine. Common?

Inside trunk/boot is a cover on the right side...open cover and will see manual pull handle...

This happened to me two weeks ago...it reset itself and has been fine since

Default Happened to me twice. I think the button under the ashtray is wireless...
we discussed this here a long time ago. I was skeptical. Has anyone got confirmation on this.

If it's wireless it could stop working due to radio interference. I am sure I'll get a thesis paper to explain. At least I hope so!

Default this was part of the reason I got the dealer to buy back
my 2000 TT and got a 2001

Happened to me once a few weeks back. Found the manual release in the truck.
