Coupe v Roadster?
I'm going to have to make a decision soon of which to go for. I need help guys. Tell me which one to buy. I occasionally need more than two seats but not enough to make the Coupe a necessity. I also like the idea of a convertible but where I live you'd only want to do it for three months in the year. Help!!!!

I had the same dilema & found the perfect solution.

But Colorado was too pretty to drive around with the sky covered up. So I got a roadster. Oh, and an A4! No regrets.

Coupe for you
It's less expensive to buy, faster (less weight), better handling (more ridgid), and more flexible carrying packages or people. So why did I get the roadsTTer? There is nothing like the experience of open air driving, particularly with the high panaromas of the Southwest. But then I have a solid 7 month season plus occasional opportunities the other 5 months.

yup plus the roadster looks alittle but like a
bathtub on wheels... ok roadster owners dont get all bent just my opinion... but i dont like any convertibles really.. just think the roadster with top down the side sills look to high...

Happiness is flexibility..............
Had a similar problem, loved the convertible but didn't want to risk top being cut or otherwise ruined...... couldn't deal with coupe 'cause didn't want to feel trapped, sooooooooo I settled for custom sunroof.
Good luck!!!!<ul><li><a href="http://www.fredyt123.com/tt.htm">http://www.fredyt123.com/tt.htm</a</li></ul>

Hmmm...Never gave even a thought towards a coupe...Read below
I do favor the convertible, but the design of the coupe is very appealing. I have two kids but would not even consider trying to put a baby seat in the coupe. Im not sure if a large adult could even get back there...As far as driving the car in the winter get the AWD and turn up the heater....

Although the Roadster is superior for all fun, the Coupe is more
practical.
It all depends on what you are looking for....
Short of tracking the TT, you would likely not ever notice the difference between the Coupe and the Roadster handling.
The TTRQ does not have ANY trunk compared to the FWD TTR, so there is the tradeoff of Quattro vs space to be considered with the TTR
For me? the best part of the car is the fact that it is a Roadster, I cant not see having a convertible in the family, it is just such a pleasure to drive with the top down.
If I could of only been able to afford the Coupe, I would not be driving a TT right now. No flames, just like the lines/driving experience of the TTR =-D
