Default Crap. Seat creaking is verified but I couldn't reproduce the 3rd gear grind...

I tried, it just wouldn't happen this morning. Maybe it is only when the car is cold? I never noticed.

I guess I will have to keep an eye on it and figure out when it happens so I can reproduce it. I just want them to see it one time and get it commented on the invoice so they know it is a problem.

Anyhow, driving a pimp Tahoe from Enterprise today <G>

I just noticed that creaking thing on my seat too. Is this pretty common?

Default It doesn't sound too common, but a few have posted about it.

This is my 3rd visit about it.

Default Put a piece of fuzzy velcro.....>>>>

Between the plastic pan and the leather (up toward the front of the seat) This has fixed it for quite a few. Mine used to squeak like a cheap mattress, but went away and never came back.

Default Mine is more of a creaking noise..

You can physically feel the seat moving back and forth upon accel and decel... my service advisor said "wow.. that is annoying"... they have already tried to tighten it/fix it twice.

Default Schwing is right, just a semantic issue. I had creaking like an old bed under the exact conditions

you described and the velcro was the thing.
