THE cure for depression.

If you're ever stood up on a date..and start driving home pissed..here's the recipie for a cure..

1 225 TT Roadster, top down
47 degrees cold outside
Laurel Canyon Blvd (long sharp windy hill)
1130 pm
idle sunday night

It. Was. Incredible.

Came home with a stupid grin on my face..I was (relativly)gentle..I'm still in the break-in zone..200 more miles to go..

Are you talking about laurel canyon like from sunset to say ventura? That area?

I guess that would be the only part of it that fits your description. I know exactly what it's like because I live up near Kirkwood Dr. (by the Canyon Country Store).

*Watch out for cops in driveways when going down the hill after Mullholland (spelling?).

you guys have the best roads out there...

every time im in LA on bus. and have some spare time i rent a decent car (cooper s, mr2 spyder) and hit the canyon roads.
might have to go to LA for a few months soon, and im tryign to figure otu how i can bring my TT with me

I used to have a great commute down one of the pashnit roads.

Your fond memories of California roads might well be out of date. We have lots of potholes now that go unrepaired. On Friday night on my commute home I hit one of them in the rain that was hiding in a sheet drain puddle. Bent two RS4 Replica rims. Ordered new ones today. Governor Ahnold and Caltrans owe me $432 plus installation costs TBD as I see it...
