It *still* won't give you any HP increase, and the ECU will notice the temp change, and modify...
the rest of the engine management accordingly.

FMIC *will* help, the change to a lower temp. thermostat is snake oil.
In fact, you may be causing *in* efficiencies by this change.

I think it would be risky had I changed the coolant thermostat to aomthing like a 160 (that. a 30* diff) AND changed out the fan switch thermostat. Then I would have a problem with overcooling. I am running an OEM VW/Audi part.
