Default It *still* won't give you any HP increase, and the ECU will notice the temp change, and modify...

the rest of the engine management accordingly.
Who sold you this?

The part and the concept?

Default modify what? Im not expecting great hp increases...same priciple as the front mount intercooler.

it will just help keep the engine at a cooler temp. Less stress on the engine.

Default FMIC *will* help, the change to a lower temp. thermostat is snake oil.

In fact, you may be causing *in* efficiencies by this change.

Good Luck.

I would not do this, and would not recommend to *anyone* to do this

Default Randy Pobst "sold" me this idea...

<img src="http://www.championracing.net/Audi_RS_6/drivers/pics/pobst.jpg">

I think it would be risky had I changed the coolant thermostat to aomthing like a 160 (that. a 30* diff) AND changed out the fan switch thermostat. Then I would have a problem with overcooling. I am running an OEM VW/Audi part.

wouldn't the ECU modify for intake charge, just like the thermostat?
