Dash Trip Computer Question

So yesterday I was driving on a trip that takes about 3 hours. I decided to reset the Computer Trip Timer, and then time the actual trip. At 1 Hour 53 Minutes the computer stated (1:53), and suddenly is just started Blinking "2:00". It went on blinking "2:00" for a few minutes, when I flipped the selection on the computer to something else and rolled back to the Trip Timer is now said "1:56", so it was back on the right time.

So, anyone know why the Trip Timer would suddenly start blinking "2:00" over and over till I scrolled through the other options?

Is this a precursor to infamous DASH Electrical problems, and it just wanted to let me know that it was coming??

Normal. It's a "driver fatigue warning". After 2 hours it automatically does that...

Just tap the up/down buttons on the end of the stem to reset it.

I guess it helps if you RTFM huh?

I did reset it by just tapping up and down on the lever but didn't know why it had done that.

As you can see this is the first long trip I've taken in it
