Default Decisions, decisions....help

I am going to buy an Audi TT by next May....just have to finish paying off a few more bills... ANYWAY...my dilema is which TT to get....dont think i'll be able to afford the presumed 40k 225hp quattro.... Should i get the FWD or the AWD Quattro ? It will be my daily driver(of course) and i commute through the city...passing is important

THANKS

Default It shouldn't be $40k, unless

you want the roadster. Figure about $36.5K - $37K for the 225 coupe quattro.

I'm saving already.

Keep your hope up, man.

No doubt, I'm saving, cajoling, and doing whatever now. Going to go visit a dealership at the end of the month and see about deposits.

Default Love my 180FWD(more)

Well, I vote for the 180FWD. I have had it for 2 wonderful months and it seems to me to be the perfect car. As an artist, I notice that sometimes you get the drawing right on the first try and I believe Audi has done this with the 180FWD TT. The newer models may get more HP and Quattro, but for the price, the 180FWD has hit the sweet spot

Default Agreed (more)

the 225Q will have all options except the phone and maybe heated seats. Audi has been firm stating that the Roadster will come in with a base under 40k, so you're looking at a few k less for the coupe (my guess is $37,500)

Ger in Maryland,

Get the Quattro. Its well worth the extra $1750. I test drove both and feel the TTQ handling is superior. Also you can join the Potomac Region Quattro Club. They offer their Quattro Driving and Safety School Oct. 18-19 at SummiTT Point WV, which I am aTTending. I've had my TTQ for 6 weeks now and I'm TTOTTALLY SATTISFIED. Mine is silver/aviator-gray with perfomance and comfort packages, audi radio w/ cd changer but no phone. What color are you thinking of getting?

Good Luck,

Edson in Laurel, Maryland

Actually, the 225hp version IS supposed to come in just under $40,000.00 with the usual options. Save a few more pennies.
