reading the writeup/FAQ. That was a great starter... and I'm too impatient to document like that. I did find an easier way to deal with removing the switch holder/switches. Took a pic or two if anyone can get the original thread updated...

The TT(so far) is super easy to work on, also straightened my exhaust that was ~5-6mm off on the pass side(lower). Everything is the same nut size on my S so a little fiddling on the neighbors lift with the 17mm and a breaker bar and then some tweaking with the 4x 13mms on the rear hangers and shes within 2mm all around on both sides at the valence. About the only way I could get it dead-on prfect would be to tweak one of the rods... don't have a torch.

Granted I haven't tackled anything difficult yet but... that door handle FAQ looks much harder than it really is... or I've taken so many cars/Audis apart now that their methods of assembly/engineering actually make sense to me now =-)

Default Ok, pics with an illustration:

OK(pretend I haven't removed it yet) here we are with the passenger window switch in its installed position. There is an easy way to get this apart without removing the switch(es) yet...

<img src="http://web.comporium.net/~hpc3/pics/tt_hndl1.jpg">

If you look closely at the the design of the switch carrier you can tell it is configured to rotate on the front of the assy. Press down and toward the front of the door card - red arrow denotes pressure applied, green - the rotation of the assembly at removal...

<img src="http://web.comporium.net/~hpc3/pics/tt_hndl2.jpg">

It will snap right out.

<img src="http://web.comporium.net/~hpc3/pics/tt_hndl3.jpg">

On reassembly you still need to remove the switches from the carrier before you can reassemble it. The switch carrier slides into the door assembly and then the switch(es) are popped/locked back into place on reassy. I tried a few different things to leverage the switch carrier back in without removing the switches... couldn't get enough leverage to push the front forward enough to snap back in. Also sacrificed some of the rubber covering on the passenger switch with this experimentation. It is much easier to just remove the switches while the carrier is out.

This mod is pretty easy if you're familiar with working on Audis. If I had to do this quickly it would take maybe 15min per door overall. Can be done lesiurely at 30min per side I'd think, taping and protecting soft parts from the aluminum trim piece which has sharp edges.
