I really want to put 245's on the rear and leave the fronts 225, any suggestions? I have a 225QC H&R sport springs with 18" X 8.5 wheels with 5MM front and 10MM rear spacers

Default Its not such a good idea to put wider tires in the rear, especially in a QUATTRO car.

I believe some people have done it, but most of them are FWD. I'll leave the technical guys to answer why its not such a good idea to have wider Tires in the back.

I don't think it's bad to put wider tires on...It's bad to have different diameters though.

Default If you have 225x40's you'll need to have 255x35 to maintain correct tire ratios, 245x35 or 245x40's

would not match the fronts.

Default I have 255's on the rears and 225 's up front with coilovers and spacers up front

Rides good, and sizes match up so not to bind up the haldex.
