Do the TT A/C controller units have internal fan noise issues like on other Audi platforms?
Want to ask before pulling mine... had some of the lower dash apart this weekend for my DICE install and I fixed about every plastic dash rattle I could find(lots of little things around the ashtray area, thought I caught everything).
In both my A4 and my 2 S4s the small temp/sensor fan in the units rattled after a few years... think it must be similar on the TT but haven't pulled the unit out before/yet. Looking for any feedback as if this can be fixed w/o replacement. TIA.

Mine rattled. Was replaced under warranty. Dealer said it was the only way to fix it.
Of course, they did not bother to break it open and fix. So if you are out of warranty, see what you can do. But dealer had to replace the entire control unit (unit with the fan/temp *****) to get the rattle to go away.
