Default Do you think TT has got old?

I read about more and more members here thinking about replacing their TTs. Do you think that it's been old and it's not that impressive and sharp anymore? I mean, is it the end of it? Is it too common now?

Default Well...

No, I don't think so. After 5 years on the streets, it's not going to get the reactions that it did when it first appeared.

The design was groundbreaking and still is. A freshening was and is in order. I think the 3.2 was a step in the right direction, though like everyone else, I would have preferred 280-300 hp. Sounds like a substantially different model will be offered in a couple of years.

Default I believe the TT will age gracefully... just like the 356

There is more to this car than just raw power, come to think about it, it isn't at all about raw power, but then neither is/was the 356. Some cars just age well, 57 Chev, the original T-Birds, all Corvettes, etc. and I think the TT, particularly if the design isn't corrupted as Ford did with the T-Bird in the late 50's, will always be an interesting car.

Default No way. So many heads turn when I drive by, it's ridiculous. When my car is parked, people break

their necks turning around as they walk by. They can't take their eyes off of it.

The TT's design will never get old.

Like the 2nd gen 300ZX. In 1990, it was a wild body style. In 2003, it's still one of the coolest looking cars on the road, IMO.

TT getting old? NEVAAARRR!

Hey now. Suspension, Audi front lip, and maybe a rear valence. No kraut-rocket here.
