Does anyone have specs for checking aim on Xenons? I get flashed quite a bit at night.

Default Hey, some people pay good money for that. ; ) Sorry, couldn't resist...

I think people still aren't used to Xenons. I had many people flash their brights at me, to which I returned the favor to let them know that my brights were not on.

As for the flashers...well, I can't say I returned the favor!

Default No but FYI the dealers have a special aiming tool that mounts

onto the light and tells them what angle the lights are at. Have them check at next service. I am today after mine were replaced post accident.

Default Good instructions in the Feb. issue of....>>

Popular mechanics as well as an article on HID lighting. Does not look too hard to do at home if you've got 25 feet to work with. No time for detail at the moment....pick up the mag. and save yourself the dealer Agravation....

You need VAG-COM to center the lights first before adjustment.

Default Do you have the fogs on when you get flashed?

I get lots of folks flashing me when my fogs are on since they are beside the driving lights they just assume they are on HB. My first reaction is to show them what the HB REALLY looks like but I manage to resist. Don't need any blinded drivers coming at me!

I've had that happen, too. But recently without. The "leveling arm" is still in place.

Thanks for the thoughts everyone. I was hoping a rough check was easy to do.
