I know this doesnt help but its a royal pain in the ***!
I had my top done about 8 months ago. I had taken it to buddies and NO one wanted to touch it... Finally had to take it to a shop here in Orlando... They charged me 450 to take it off and put it back on, but I had a new top put on..
Also you won't find a glue that is going to hold that window back in. It's electronically sealed from the dealer. Even the strongest glue (which we tried) wouldn't keep the window in, in florida heat... They even tried sewing a new piece around the inner part, by the glass and it didnt hold... Looked like crap around the outside of the canvas too!
Just telling you of the nightmare I had... maybe, just maybe since it's not fully separated the glue thing might work, but I would plan on purchasing a new top any how.. they are about 400/450 and I purchased mine on ebay from a place that actually made a great top - the convertible guy that put it in said it was better than OEM (in regards to the sewing around the glass etc) And the canvas was the exact same stuff Audi uses, so it looks factory!
