Does disconnecting battery before ECM removal eliminate the "ECM removed" VAG code?

Default Does disconnecting battery before ECM removal eliminate the "ECM removed" VAG code?
Replacing it with a "battery disconnect" code.

i think it's the same code..."voltage drop"

I think either one just results in a "low voltage" code.

Ya they do, You need to clear that code before you go to the dealer.

Default Yes I have a friend that is chipped and keeps changing ECUs and clearing codes simply to deceive
....the dealer and I, I mean he, always repalces the the chipped ECU, clears all codes then drives the car until the real fault codes appear again. Boy some people! JIM
