Default Driveline "binding" issue. New Haldex and pump seem to have fixed it . . .

I would sometimes get a binding (much like a 4wd truck when you try to turn sharply)when the car was cold, and I turned the wheel all the way. It would often do it when backing out of my driveway. The car would just stop when turning sharply. After driving forward for a bit, it would go away.

Well, $2000 dollars of repairs seem to have fixed it, all under warranty.

The dealer claims that I am well known to Audi, because they have not run into this problem before on TTs. I don't know about that.

Default glad to hear it's now sorted out.

I wondered if/how that was cleared up.

Default Yeah, me too. This would be a tough car to own without a warranty . . .

I'm glad I bought a 100,000 mile warranty.
