Picked up a new gremlin in the last week. Mk1 Roadster. Not a show stopper, but before I start taking things apart, thought I would ask.

When I open the passenger door with the key (to open the door for Mrs vtk3b) and give it a double pump to also unlock the drivers door, the drivers door does not unlock. I use the key because the keyless entry does not work. The alarm is turning off, as evidenced by the motion sensor not setting off the alarm. I am going to assume the power door lock actuator in the drivers door is to blame, but thought I'd ask if anyone else has the same issue before I dig into it.

I never knew a double pump opened the drivers door. Thanks. Sorry I can't add anything to solving your problem.

For me, I think the doors are scared of me, and decided to start working again.
